Why Pre-Order ???

New product announcements are made typically several months before the actual release date. In the case of much awaited models, the demand is much higher than what can be initially supplied by manufacturer. Typically, initial orders placed by dealers and distributors are sold out way ahead of the release date.  Customers who wait until after the release may find their order at the end of a long backorder queue. GetFeetWet offers its customers a better alternative. When customers place their order for a yet to be released model, they will be guaranteed product allocation from the 1st shipment  from manufacturer. GetFeetWet will accept pre-orders until the 1st initial shipment is fully allocated. GetFeetWet may open a second round of pre-orders but will clearly post a statement on the website that the new pre-orders are going to get allocation from a 2nd shipment. GetFeetWet will keep all pre-orders in the pending queue (payment authorized but not captured) and will only proceed to pre-orders  48 hours before  scheduled carrier delivery date.  All orders can be modified or cancelled at anytime prior to the ship date.

A: No-Risk Product Allocation

Several payment options are available to GetFeetWet  clients interested in pre-ordering soon to be released units:
      1)  Pre_order and pay using a major credit card. GetFeetWet will process these payments 48 hours before the projected delivery date to the GetfeetWet warehouse.
      2)  Place the order and use "telephone" or "eMail" as the payment method. GetFeetWet will notify the customer on file both by phone and email the same day GetFeetWet received notification from the manufacturer that the product has shipped and is enroute to our warehouse. Customer has 48 hours to confirm his order and provide payment information. Failure to arrange payment within 48 hours will allow the release of the allocation to other clients in order queue.
     3) Request to be added to the notification list of the product yet to be released. GetFeetWet will notify clients in the list as soon as the product is released. No product allocation is assigned to clients in the list unlike options 1 and 2 above. Clients in the list will be allocated on a first-come-first-serve basis on any unallocated units from the incoming shipment as soon as payment arrangements are made.

B: Automated Product Release Notification Service

Regardless of which payment method is used, GetFeetWet will keep pre-order clients notified on changes to anticipated or announced ship dates. Notifications will be done via email to the pre-order distribution list.

C: Price Protection Guarantee

GetFeetWet Pre-Order Clients are guaranteed price protection from the time they placed their order and up to 15 days from the date the product is released by manufacturer. This will ensure that clients are protected from price hike resulting from temporary shortage of supply or price drops that sometimes occur if a dealer prices the products much higher than what market would pay for the product if ample  supply is available to meet initial demands for the product.. This puts clients at ease knowing that GetFeetWet pricing is fair and will not fluctuate due to market forces. As GetFeetWet has no control over what individuals, competitors or fraudulent operations may offer to get the client's money, Price Protection Guarantee only applies to price changes made by GetFeetWet and does NOT apply to price changes offered by outside entity.

D: No Charge Cross-Shipment Service

As part of GetFeetWet's Customer Service, all pre-order are automatically enrolled in GetFeetWet's renowned  Cross-shipment service FREE of charge. Clients covered by this service are entitled to a same-product-replacement for defective products within the first 30-day period of purchase. GetFeetWet will ship to the client a replacement unit (brand new unit if item purchases is a brand new unit) as soon as client sends the tracking number of the defective unit being returned to GetFeetWet. This will save client days of waiting to get their installation completed or avail of the use of their new unit due to some technical difficulties. GetFeetWet will ship the replacement package FREE of charge using standard shipping services but client can arrange for discounted expedited shipping in order to meet client's timing requirements.
